These are a selection of paintings I made in 2021. I was living in Los Angeles at the beginning of the year, and moved back to Brooklyn by July. It was a lonely time, I missed many of the people I loved, and was hungry for connection with others. I look back fondly on this melancholic time, as it taught me a lot about who I am as a painter and a person.
